The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm January 4, 2012 by Travis Lovelace at the Texas Chenier Plains Complex Office in Anahuac, TX.
present: David Sarkozi, Travis Lovelace, Kay Lovelace, Carolyn Harris, Tommy Harris, Matt Jackson, John Kemp, Jerry Milsaps, and John Stevens.
The minutes for the December board meeting where presented. Tommy Harris moved that the minutes be approved as corrected. The motion passed
The December Treasurer's Report was presented. David Sarkozi moved that the report be approved as presented. The motion passed.
Refuge report:
- Paving is not done. The completion date is still January 17, 2012
- Very busy hunting season. Refuge held a lot of ducks
Projects status reports.
Publicity - an add is ready to go.
Adopt-a-tree - still open until we plant trees on Hackberry Trail.
Newsletter - newsletter is out.
Website - reloaded the Joomla content management system. Might be able to restore some of the old content.
Skiles Donation - still picking a model of game camera.
New Business
Annual Membership Meeting. Details in the newsletter. Still need to send out the email to the membership.
Tommy Harris moved to adjourn. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
