Search for the elusive Yellow Rail with Refuge volunteer David Sarkozi and others. Learn about Yellow Rail ecology and management while searching for Yellow Rails on foot through salty prairie habitat. Walking through marsh habitat can be challenging. Interested participants should wear waterproof boots (rubber boots are best). Participants should also come equipped with binoculars, insect repellent and drinking water (there is no potable water on the Refuge).
Yellow Rail Walk dates have been set as follows:
March 31, 7 am and 5 pm
April 1, 7 am and 5 pm
April 14, 7 am and 5 pm
April 15 7 am and 5 pm
