The Nature Store is located within the Visitor Information Station and is managed by the Friends of Anahuac Refuge.  

The Nature Store has many items for the nature enthusiast. We offer a great variety of books about plants, birds, reptiles, butterflies, bird checklists, various guides, and others. You will find that we have a wide selection of children’s books and nature souvenir items for children.  What better way to pass on the joys of nature.  There are maps for many purposes, collector patches and pins, magnets, key chains, postcards, T-shirts, hats, DVDs, CDs, tapes, and other unique gift items.   

One of the many benefits of being a member of the Friends of Anahuac Refuge (FOAR) is that it allows you to receive a 10% discount on purchases at the Nature Store. All income from Nature Store sales supports refuge programs and education efforts.  

We offer new items periodically and we usually have discounted items for those who like to find a bargain. Don’t miss out; come by regularly.
