The Nature Store is located within the Visitor Information Station and is managed by the Friends of Anahuac Refuge.

 

The Nature Store has many items for the nature enthusiast. We offer a great variety of books about plants, birds, reptiles, butterflies, bird checklists, various guides, and others. You will find that we have a wide selection of children’s books and nature souvenir items for children. What better way to pass on the joys of nature. There are maps for many purposes, collector patches and pins, magnets, key chains, postcards, T-shirts, hats, DVDs, CDs, tapes, and other unique gift items. 

A wildlife sightings board is located within the VIS, on which visitors share sightings they have experienced. Check it out on your way into the refuge. As you leave the refuge, be sure to share your sightings on the board as well.

The Anahuac NWR Visitor Center and Nature Store is located 2-miles south of I-10, on FM 563 (exit 810) in Anahuac, TX.  We sell items for seasoned naturalists and beginner naturalists alike. We offer a great variety of books about plants, birds, reptiles, butterflies, bird checklists, various guides, and others.
